GA-CCRi maintains and deploys production systems for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial industry. GA-CCRi is looking for experienced Senior Tracking Engineers to revolutionize data fusion for air, maritime, and ground tracking. Harness your skills in algorithms, mathematics, and software engineering to architect innovative data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization solutions. Develop advanced probabilistic tracking solutions to empower real-time situational awareness. Join our growing team and shape the future of tracking and intelligence integration.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and deployment of tracking systems, ensuring adherence to software compliance standards.
- Architect robust tracking systems incorporating advanced state estimation techniques (e.g. Kalman/IMM filters).
- Leverage advanced data fusion techniques to accurately track objects in dynamic environments.
- Design and implement scalable architectures for real-time/batch data processing.
- Manage core tracking strategy and multi-quarter roadmap.
- Mentor tracking engineers on advanced tracking methodologies and best practices.
- Perform in-depth geospatial analysis to uncover patterns and trends.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and requirements.
- Collaborate with domain experts, users, development teams, and management to prioritize features.
- Document technical concepts, system architectures, and implementation details in a clear and concise manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information systems or related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Ability to leverage filtering algorithms, such as Kalman filters and Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) filters.
- Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques for enhancing tracking capabilities, such as object detection and classification.
- Experience with a variety of programming languages, such as Java, Scala, Python, and Golang.
- Supporting experience to execute against database technologies such as PostgreSQL.
- Supporting experience to execute against cloud technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Accumulo.
- Experienced with software version control systems, in particular, git.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Computer Vision systems and intelligence collection.
- CI/CD pipelines and tooling (Gitlab CI/CD, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Jenkins).
- Experience with sensor technologies and data acquisition systems used in tracking applications, such as radar, lidar, GPS, or cameras.
- Deployment technologies such as: Docker, Kubernetes, Knative, Helm, Rancher.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- Interested in maintaining and adapting existing codebases.
- Experience with data fusion and data engineering tools.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community and DoD mission sets.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness to get certified.
