Job Summary GA-CCRi maintains and deploys production solutions, including Thresher and Dragonspell, for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial industry. We build and develop best-in-class, all-domain, and globally focused situational awareness capabilities that process petabytes of data from numerous streaming data sources in near real time. Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been, and what it's doing. All of this "data to knowledge" is made available to end users in our own browser-based application for visualization, analysis, and understanding. We always want to do more, and that's where you come in!
CCRi is looking for an experienced Cyber Analyst with a Top Secret/SCI clearance to work in our Charlottesville, Virginia office. The position will be responsible for administering and securing IT systems utilizing industry best practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation and management of public and private key cryptography, automation of security implementations with configuration management tools such as Puppet.
- Creation of comprehensive search queries to extract security relevant information from system log files.
- Perform routine CVE checks and vulnerability patching log auditing.
- Documentation creation and maintaining consistent updates on documentation.
- Monitor systems for security threats and maintaining firewalls while adhering to company policies in reference to security responses.
- Development and implementation of cybersecurity threat forecasts.
- Support team efforts around communicating cybersecurity awareness through project planning, education, and outreach efforts company wide.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of demonstrated system administrator experience, preferably on both Windows and Linux OSes.
- Experience with networking protocols, cryptography and encryption.
- Experience with configuration management code (Puppet), text manipulation, scripting, and Regex.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated documentation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with various cybersecurity tools and products.
- Experience with communicating with internal and external stakeholders from a broad spectrum of technical skillsets.
- Experience with NIST and DFARS, or other types of compliance requirements and audits.
- Job-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Salary:$89,180 - $155,825
