We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Systems Security Manager to join our Classified Systems team in Poway, CA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads the design, development and implementation of programs, procedures and systems for the SIPRnet enclave; ensures system compliance with the authoritative US Government requirements documents including (but not limited to): DISA STIGS, DD254, SCGs, CND Directives, OPORDS, etc.
  • Maintain authorization of the SIPRnet circuit and manage the continuous monitoring process to keep it in good standing with governing authorities.
  • Ensures ESS and ACAS suites/tools are deployed in accordance with DISA regulations.
  • Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks.
  • Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.
  • Oversees the patch management process.
  • Oversees and executes the self-inspection process.
  • Represents the organization as a primary contact with internal and external representatives.
  • Acts as systems security lead during a Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA).
  • Leads the change configuration process for the SIPRnet circuit.
  • Leads the recommendation of resource allocation to ensure secure operation and requirements are met.
  • Provides training and participates in the development of curriculum and course content.
  • May function in a leadership role by providing direction to support and professional staff.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, Information Assurance certification and five or more years of professional experience in information assurance or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Must posses an active DoD Top Secret (TS) Clearance
  • Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of NIST 800-53 (Risk Management Framework), CNSS, DAAPM, and other related information assurance principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Experience preparing for a CORA (formerly known as CCRI).
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, networking/routing principles, ESS, and ACAS.
  • Experience with system assessment/hardening tools – DISA STIGs, SCAP, Retina, Nessus, etc.
  • Experience successfully and effectively interacting with internal and external customers (DCSA, ISSPs, ISRs, DAOs, Program Managers, etc.)
  • Experience with the DISN CPG.
  • Must possess a current DoD 8570 IAM level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
  • Professional demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and ability to excel in a high-paced multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and manage to schedule.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written modes, and be able to author and present subject specific presentations.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in an evolving environment while contributing to the development of new processes.
  • Must be customer focused and possess:
    • The ability to identify issues, analyze data and develop solutions to a variety of complex technical and administrative problems.
    • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling an effective interface with other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
